This project focuses on creating a Vertical Airport for electrified passenger drones, with the main hub located over Sheffield train-station connecting the two parts of the city with this a Pedestrian Bridge. The Verti-Bridge will be comprised of waiting rooms, retail kiosks, restaurant space, bar space, office space, air traffic control center, staff welfare, landing pads, commercial plant rooms, charging infrastructure and new public realm. It will be constructed using low carbon building materials, for instance, CLT, Glulam, wood fiber insulation and Recycled aggregate concrete.
