Set in Sheffield’s industrial Neepsend, this project envisages a new architectural language for manufacturing in the city by exploring the future of viable homegrown timber as an alternative to carbon-intensive materials. It seeks to reshape the future of Sheffield’s building industry, become a potential catalyst for regeneration in the area and lead the city into the transition to a sustainable urban future that delivers on international policy frameworks like the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
