With escalating global conflicts and climate-related disasters, more and more displaced people are forced to seek sanctuary away from their homeland - including here in the UK.In order to address these social issues, the design project looks to provide a space which actively facilitates and encourages the integration of displaced groups/individuals into already-established communities. The Culture Hub offers interactive and inclusive programmes, with an emphasis on non-verbal communications methods where language barriers are present. The hub is designed to encourage both interaction and exploration through movement.
