With an emphasis on responding to the surrounding context and movement of people the aim of this project was to create a sequence of exhibitions each with a different experience that showcases issues with water today as well as how the river and docks were essential to Bristol’s history.

The project explores concepts of Heavy and Light & Dark and bright to influence how the spaces are experienced.

Another early, key concept was using tidal and rising sea level graphs to influence all vertical circulation. Tidal graphs related to fast vertical change (stairs & lifts) whereas the rising sea level graph relate to a slower more gradual vertical change (ramps).
